The funding program is awarded to international scholars. Monash university scholarships are very competitive in nature and scholars are awarded based on their academic record, research work and previous research experience.
The Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship supports exceptional scholars wishing to undertake a research for a Doctorate and Research Master’s degrees programme. Awarded scholars for Monash university scholarship are given an annual living allowance worth $35,600, relocation allowance valued at $550 and research allowance per annum estimated at $1,500.

Eligibility Criteria for the Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship
To be eligible for Co-funded Monash University Graduate Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be International student.
- Candidates must hold an Australian or New Zealand bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours (H1) or qualifications and/or research experience deemed equivalent by the University.
- Scholars must have a previous research experience
- International applicants must meet some specific English language requirements to be eligible for the scholarship.

English Language Test requirements
General: IELTS: 6.5 overall (no band less than 6.0) and (79 +) Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18 & Writing 21 in TOEFL.
Arts, Business and Economics: IELTS 7 overall (no band less than 6.5) in , and (94 +) Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20 & Writing 24 in TOEFL.
Eligible Field of Study
Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees in any subject.
