University of Kent Scholarships: First 500 Scholarships ??

The University of Kent has flagged open their University of Kent Scholarships application portal for the first 500 scholarships award to be rewarded to eligible undergraduates in EU and international students for the 2022 / 2023 academic session.

The first 500 ScholarshipsAward is one of the most consistent Scholarship award at Kent University which has recorded quite a number of success and has given a UK, EU and international students.

It is a partially funded scholarship award open to UK, EU and international students with scholarship worth $2,000. The First 500 Scholarships is one of the Kent University Scholarships open to all nationality.

Eligible candidates for the first 500 Scholarships at the University of Kent must:

  • have gained 136 points and above from or AAB from three A levels
  • be quaified to enter stage 1 of their undergraduate stage by September 2022
  • have already applied to the University of Kent via UCAS platform
  • have accepted to study at the University of Kent by August 31, 2022

The following candidates are not eligible to participate in the First 500 Scholarships by University of Kent:

Candidates who have;

  • attained qualification higher than A Level or Equivalent
  • been enroled as recipients of need-based financial assistance
  • been enroled as students at the Universtity of Kent
  • recently applied to Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS)

Note: Qualified students for the Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence are still eligible to participate for this scholarship.

UNIVERSITY OF KENT SCHOLARSHIP / FIRST 500 SCHOLARSHIPS AT UNIVERSITY OF KENT: HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Interested candidates should meet the above criteria

Step 2: Compose a well written essay between 750-100 words with the guide below

“When the first students arrived at the new University of Kent at Canterbury (as the University was then known) in 1965, there were no societies, no sports clubs, and no student representation. In 2018, 20,000 students enjoyed 67 sports clubs, 189 societies, and there were over 400 student representatives. Kent’s first students had the opportunity – and the responsibility – to start all of these from scratch. If we were opening a new university in 2022 and you were in that first student intake, what would you start and why?”

Step 3: Save the essay on word document and boldly incribe the following on the essay; tittle of essay, full name of applicant and the applicant’s university of Kent Identification number.

Step 4: Submission of essay via Kentvision platform. Deadline: Monday 31 October 2022
